Health Review: Atkins Quick Quisine Pancake & Waffle Mix
Monday September 15, 2003
Everyday gay and bi men feel pressure to have the perfect body. As if images from the media aren't enough to deal with, we often judge each other based on our physical appearance. I work out regularly and consider myself to have a decent diet, but in no way do I have the body of Adonis; the body I feel I must have when I go to the gym, the club or when I meet a new guy.
It's disappointing to say that in my years of gayness I've met a few guys that have gone through great lengths to get the perfect six pack, including binge diets such as Atkins. So, I set out to see how feasible it was to stick with this popular diet plan. Of course the diet involves more than just low carbohydrate foods, but since I already work on physical and mental health I thought it was a good place to begin. I started with low carb pancakes mix from Atkins. Was it worth the money, time and effort? See for yourself in my review of Atkins Quick Quisine Pancake & Waffle Mix.
