Sad how politicians and all other Elected officials fail to support the majority since they are too busy bending down to take the gifts from the special interest groups who buy their way into politics and support rogue judges that ignorantly make laws that go against what THE PEOPLE WHO ELECTED HIM want. I’m gay and there is no benefit needed from this act of formality. Are gays really going to take their relationships more seriously and marry and settle? That’s one of the excuses but I can clue you, once the newness of the “marriage” is over you’re now legally bound to someone you most likely will end up hating. For those 2.5% of GLBT couples that make it past 10 years with no promiscuity or cheating this will be for you. To the rest of the 97.5% of gays who do it to show off and throw in the face of the majority of the voting population. The actions of GLBT’s ignoring the majority popular vote to ban gay unions because my minority is now the default ruling to be viewed as “Hip, Impressive and MTV-like.” Why not promote fisting and barebacking-2 very safe and harmless activities that are promoted on barebacking sites.
