Not all gay men are the same. We have different styles, different demeanors and varying belief systems. So, is it completely unorthodox for some gay men to be opposed to gay marriage? Listen to what these readers have to say:

- "I'm bisexual, and I'm opposed to gay marriage. No, I'm not insecure, I just don't find the idea appealing." (read more)
The Gay Marriage Debate:
I feel that gay marriage should totally be left up to the decision of the particular church. I think that everyone should have the right to get married but I do believe that we are stepping on the toes of the constitution by asking that gay marriage be a service offered by every church. If a church is firmly against homosexuality or the idea of same-sex marriage then it should have the right to refuse to marry a same-sex couple, one might then ask why would a same-sex couple ask to be wed by a church that condemns homosexuality? If a church does support homosexuality, and does not view the idea of a man and a man or a woman and a woman entering into holy matrimony then that church should definitely be allowed to marry them. So I consider myself to be for gay marriage but some have said that I am against, the way I look at it is I am for the right to choose and against the mandate of it.
I’m against it because I’m opposed to the idea that government can sanction and interfere in my relationships. On top of that, heterosexual have destroyed marriage, so why would i want to play by those rules and accept the leftovers. let them keep it while it lasts. Is such a backward idea in this date and age.
