My Gay High School Infatuation

Q. Dear Mona Lisa,
I'm a sophomore in high school and I've known I was gay since about 6th grade. I have the biggest crush on a guy I met in band. We pick on each other and sometimes he jokes about having sex with me. I told him how how I felt in an email. He responded by saying he had no problem with me being gay. After that, we still talk, but he stopped messing around with me like we used to. When I'm around him I feel this special bond between us. What should I do, Mona?

i knew i was gay in middle school my hormones kicked in and full blast . i was siting next to a guy .and bam it was love i was geting erections in class . and i showed him my erection .he thought i was sick .untill he started geting erections about the same time .we held hands under the desk after school we played and kissed .it was great .

i am a sophmore in highschool and i am going to come out as bi, but i am extremely worried i will lose my best friend. i have strong feelings for my friend and i dont know wat to do. i got my friend on the topic of gays to see what they would say, my friend said that its gross and doesnt like those kind of people, now i dont know wat to do

Hey I’m gay and in band too. ..and I’m the drum major.

I want to come out but I’m afraid it’ll change the way some people view me and hurt my image as a leader. I’ll problably just wait untill the marching season ends and then come out.
