Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, as the representative of the United States, joined Chile, Colombia, France, Germany, Peru, and Romania in support of including the European chapter of the International Lesbian and Gay Association and the Lesbian and Gay Federation of Germany on the U.N. Economic and Social Council.
