Grey's Anatomy Actor, T. R. Knight, Says He's Gay
Friday October 20, 2006
Actor T.R. Knight plays the how-could-you-not-love intern George O'Malley on the popular ABC drama, Grey's Anatomy. Knight started acting when he was 5 in Minneapolis and later moved to New York to appear in several Broadway productions and now the hit series, Grey's Anatomy. Knight came out in the October 19, 2006 issue of People amid rumors about his sexuality. He told People,
"I guess there have been a few questions about my sexuality, and I'd like to quiet any unnecessary rumors that may be out there. While I prefer to keep my personal life private, I hope the fact that I'm gay isn't the most interesting part of me."How will Anatomy fans react? TV Drama Guide, Rachel Thomas, says,
"What's that strange sound you hear? It's the sound of millions of hearts breaking all over the world."Sorry ladies, this one is ours.
