In another push for equality, Mexico City officials are freeing prisoners—from discrimination, that is. The Mexico City department of prisons and rehabilitation announced to the BBC that it has allowed its first conjugal visit to a gay inmate, identified as Agustin N, at Santa Martha Acatitla prison. The commission ruled that banning gay conjugal visits was discrimination based on sexual orientation, which has been illegal in Mexico since 2003.

Poll:
In most prison systems straight men are allowed conjugal visits. Should gay men also be given this privilege?
Yes | No | (see results)

Your poll question “In most prison systems straight men are allowed conjugal visits. Should gay men also be given this privilege?” offers only the replies ‘YES’ or ‘NO’.
My personal opinion is that NO prisoners should be allowed conjugal visits but if I rely ‘NO’, the implication is (wrongly) that I support discrimination against gays.
