How Gay Men Can Help Fight Breast Cancer

Did you know that the risk of breast cancer is reduced by as much as 50 percent for women who have had one child? And that nearly 30 percent of lesbians are obese compared to 20 percent for women overall. Lesbians do not drink more than the general population, but have a greater history of problems with alcohol. These risk factors are known to be linked to breast cancer, putting our lesbian sisters at greater risk than straight women.

For obvious reasons, gay men aren't at significant risk for breast cancer, but there are things we can do to help fight the often deadly illness. Here's how you can help fight breast cancer.
