(1) Mike E says:

Ant is no longer a Famous Gay… Since his religious affiliation with Scientology doesn’t allow it!

Um, jokes on you Mike E. If you’ve ever gone to any of his shows, the entire Scientology thing is a big rouse to get Kathy Griffin. And it’s working. He talks about it onstage and then I saw her like a month later and she fell for everything he said she would.

$18,ooo dollar Spaceship retreat?! Come on.

I’m curious what you guys think about celebs and scientology. If ANT were a Scientologist, would that alter your opinion of him? I mean Will Smith is affiliated (or at least has good friends that are) and he is the top paid male actor now.

To Jules:
I recently saw his “comedy” act in St Pete, FL (near to Clearwater, home a of a large Scientology center) and he admitted that he was a scientologist. I think he lost most of us after admitting it. He never once said it was a joke even after the negative reaction from the crowd.

I just saw ANT at an AIDS RIDE event in Lompoc, Ca. What a hilarious man! And so cute too. But he did make many jokes about Scientology…including feeding Kathy Griffin bogus info to see if she’d run with it…she did. He also made jokes about Orthodoxy and Jehovah’s Witness’s. He was on and the 2500 or so in the crowd gave him a standing ovation.
