Pictured left: A snapshot from this year's pride parade in Chicago captured by photographer and techie TheFemGeek. Chicago has a thriving gay community. The annual gay pride parade followed a week's worth of festive events in celebration of Gay Pride Month. The parade began at the way-gay corner of Halsted Street and Belmont Avenue and continues north on Halsted, eventually ending in Lincoln Park. Here's a visual recap of Chicago Pride.
