Is Florida Being Ignored? Have We Just Given Up on Arizona?
Saturday October 25, 2008
If you haven't been all over the No on Proposition 8 campaign in California, then it may be time to make a donation or lend your support. Even if you don't live in California, it's important that you lend your support to help defeat of Proposition 8. The result of the vote will set the tone for gay rights across the country for years to come. Who knows, you're state might be next. Keep in mind, same-sex marriage isn't about special rights, it's about equal rights—1138 of them to be exact. There are two other states, Arizona and Florida, that have introduced voter propositions that would, if successful, ban same-sex marriage. Some believe that the anti-gay bills in these states are more likely to pass than Proposition 8 is in California. As we've all witnessed over the past 8 years, political momentum can change very rapidly. So, we can't give up. Not on California, Arizona or Florida.

Thank you for mentioning Arizona and Florida. Yes, we do feel left out and ignored here in Arizona — even though we were the first state in the nation to defeat one of these propositions in 2006.
Please give as generously as you can to either No on Prop 102 or Arizona Together.
Its funny in its own little way. I never voted before, I do not believe in it. I had a number of people attack me as of late about not voting. So I caved in only to find out that I am not aloud to vote. I was born here, I have never been to jail. I just do not get to vote.
