Dating Boot Camp Tip #8: Freeing Your Self-Esteem

Improving your self-esteem isn't just a matter of wanting something better for yourself. You have to believe you deserve more than you already have. The deepest hole we can dig for ourselves is thinking that we don't deserve the right guy for us. We look at other couples and immediately start to compare him, him and us, which inevitably leads to questions of "why not me?"

Finding the right guy isn't a competition of numbers or a comparison of sorts, it's about confidence and compatibility. When we bury our sense of self-worth we lower our chances of getting a guy. Men like other confident men—guys that know what they want and believe that they deserve to have it.
