Films by openly gay directors Lee Daniels and Tom Ford hit the 2010 Golden Globes nominee list this morning. Daniel's "Precious" was nominated for Best Motion Picture-Drama with actresses Gabourey Sidibe up for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture-Drama and Mo'Nique for Best Supporting Actress.
Colin Firth represents gay director Tom Ford's film "A Single Man" with a nomination for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture-Drama.
