Riders prepare to 'brake' the cycle

On September 24th riders will set off on a 285 mile bike ride from Boston to New York on a three day trip to support HIV/AIDS services at New York City's LGBT center.

The annual Braking The Cycle event raised more than $2,100,000 in its first seven years and comes at an opportune time as state and local HIV/AIDS funding feels the strain of the economy and HIV transmission rates continue to rise. More after the jump.
