It's hard to do much these days without running into something green: from organics at the grocery to hybrids in the lot and energy efficient bulbs. Enviros have been salivating over this day for a long time, when being environmental consciousness becomes a lifestyle for most people, not just those who've always been in tune with the dangers we do to our planet.
It may be some time before shades of brown in the California sky turn blue or some of our waters filter their oil slick, but thumbs everywhere are turning deeper hues of green, including pink ones. April 22 is Earth Day, a day to increase awareness and give a gentler touch to our natural greens. Here are ways you can celebrate Earth Day and go green.
