"You're not going to solve any problem until you start a dialogue," former Pittsburgh Pirates owner and CEO Kevin McClatchy told The New York Times in an opt-ed Sunday. "And there's no dialogue right now."
McClatchy says he spent 30 years lying about his sexuality to avoid the homophobic slurs that travel through professional baseball. Now, at age 49, McClatchy is ready to come out. "I've got a birthday coming up where I'm turning old," he told The Times. McClatchy turns 50 in January.
McClatchy resigned as CEO of the Pirates in 2007 and sold his shares in the organization in 2009.

Wish Kevin a very happy 50th and many more, would like to see all the closeted sports gays come out and someday the homophobic population will stop all the hate toward their fellow man. By the way Kevin 50 is not old, your life is just beginning to mature. I am 14 years older and I still feel young.
