Broadway buffs: Let's get twisted. Gay favorite stage stars like Neil Patrick Harris (TV's "How I Met Your Mother," Assassins, Cabaret), Anthony Rapp (Rent, You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown), Gary Beach (The Producers), Len Cariou (Sweeny Todd) and plenty more are bending over backward to benefit The Center (the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Community Center in New York City), the second largest LGBT center in the country.

This twisted cabaret, called Broadway Backwards (directed by Robert Bartley), is a night full of gay joie de vivre with male singers performing songs traditionally performed by female singers, and vice versa. February 4th is the third installment of Broadway Backwards.

I must admit that Broadway and I aren't exactly on the same (how can I put this?) stage; but for some reason I can't pass up an opportunity to see this bend on traditional show tunes.
