By , About.com Guide

Following Episode 1 of Bravo's hit gay reality dating show Boy Meets Boy contestant Michael Jason Tiner was honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy for violating their "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy.

Bisexual Michael Jason Tiner, who was eliminated in Episode 3 of Boy Meets Boy, was a combat systems instructor with eight years of military experience. He was spotted on the show by a fellow seaman who then informed their superiors.

According to Zap2it.com, Mr. Tiner stated "I was comfortable enough with who I am and with my sexuality that I was ready to face the consequences."

Mr. Tiner did not give any indication of his next career move.
