Join the Discussion "Who knew a year could pass by so fast!  Us folks (gay and straight) here in NYC are somewhat in a frenzy about the upcoming anniversary of the terrorist attacks on 9-11-01.  I'd argue that majority of the people here are doubtful another event will happen on that day this year, however there is a general feeling of loss and sorrow for many of our friends and family." Many gay men and women lost their lives on September 11th, 2001.  If you lost someone during this tragedy and would like to honor their memory, submit their name and a 50 word bio or story to be posted on the Gay Life Site.
