Did you know that in 36 states, it is legal to fire someone based on their sexual orientation and in 46 states, it is legal to do so based on gender identity?
Some companies do not include protection against sexual preference or gender identity discrimination in their sexual harassment policies, while others have very specific clauses. Even fewer extent benefit rights to the domestic partners of their employees.
