HBO's award winning series Six Feet Under was a favorite among gay viewers, mostly due to the development of gay characters David (Michael C. Hall) and Keith (Mathew St. Patrick), a questioning lesbian encounter by Claire (Lauren Ambrose) and a complete cast of dynamic characters. Five seasons of drama unfolded coming out issues, hate crimes, homophobia, and the intricacies of gay relationships.
