In addition to being a TV personality and author, Carson Kressley is an avid philanthropist and supporter of gay rights. Kressley, a native of Allentown, Pennsylvania, graduated Magna Cum Laude from Gettysburg College. Kressley currently resides in New York City.

Kressley is involved with many philanthropic efforts. He's hosted numerous fundraiser for the Human Rights Campaign Federal Club and has contributed to GLAAD, Heritage of Pride, Inc., The Trevor Project and GLSEN. Kressley also volunteers his time and effort to medical causes and the The American Saddlebred Horse Foundation. Carson Kressley prides himself for being a major donor in establishing the first college scholarship program for gay youth in his hometown of Allentown, Pennsylvania.

Kressley the Author
Carson Kressley is the co-author of the New York Times bestseller "Queer Eye For The Straight Guy" Companion book. Kressley's wrote his first solo authored book, "Off The Cuff: The Essential Style Guide for Men and the Women Who Love Them" in 2004. His new children's book, "You're DIFFERENT and That's SUPER" helps build children's self-esteem and awareness.
