Mika has come out.

This British singer-songwriter joins an exclusive group of popular recording artists to come out publicly. At the time of his coming out the list tops a dozen.

Mika sexuality wasn't a heavily debated topic at the gossip table. As he admits, he wasn't hiding anything, even though he said he was bisexual in an interview three years before. Confused? Not really. Mika hates to label himself. "Call me whatever you want," he says.

In the September 2012 issue of Instinct, he said: "If you ask me am I gay, I say yeah. Are these songs about my relationship with a man? I say yeah. And it's only through my music that I've found the strength to come to terms with my sexuality beyond the context of just my lyrics. This is my real life."

Fancy getting Mika's attention, and possibly being the subject of his next song? The artist says your chances are wide open: "I consider myself label-less because I could fall in love with anybody - literally - any type, any body. I'm not picky."
