Richard Hatch on Survivor:
Richard Hatch was the first winner of the Survivor: Pulau Tiga reality series in 2000. Hatch is known for his cocky attitude and nude escapades on the show. Before his million dollar winnings and Survivor fame, Richard Hatch worked as a corporate trainer, licensed real estate agent, car salesman, bartender. Hatch was also in the Army for 5 years.

Hatch was out while on Survivor. He married his partner, Emiliano Cabral, in March 2005. Hatch has an adopted son named Christopher from a previous marriage.
Richard Hatch in Tax Trouble:
In January 2005, Hatch was charged with failing to report $1,010,000 in Survivor earnings, $321,000 in radio station proceeds from WQSX-FM in Boston, $28,000 in rental property income and other earnings. Hatch was offered a lesser sentence if he pleaded guilty (an obviously agreed to pay his tax obligations). He withdrew his plea, falsely claiming CBS agreed to pay his taxes. He was indicted on September 8, 2005.
On January 25, 2006, Richard Hatch was found guilty of tax evasion. He was sentenced to 51 months in prison, plus three years of supervised release. Hatch is serving his sentence at the Federal Correctional Institution in Morgantown, West Virginia. In a recent interview, Richard Hatch talked about the woes of prison life.
Other Legal Troubles:
In April 2000, Hatch was arrested for abusing his 9-year-old son. The charges were later dropped. In 2002, Hatch was found guilty of assaulting an ex-boyfriend.
