It's no secret that I'm a fan of Fabulous and Gay personal grooming and spa products, arguably the best on the market. But when it came time to review F.A.G.'s new pet product line, I knew it would require the help of my toughest critic- my mom's little Boston Terrier. "Boston," as he's so creatively named, enjoys a level of attention rivaled only by Paris Hilton's pup.
The Verdict
F.A.G. Pet Shampoo is a great value at less than $10 a bottle, especially given the care Grayson Fairbanks put into the product line. The shampoo isn't just a pet cleanser; it's a spa treatment that sends other more expensive shampoos to the pound.
The texture and smell of the moisturizer, fur and odor protector is reminiscent of Vick VapoRub which worked to mom's advantage after a shocking initial smell. "Boston has never stood still while taking a bath before. Usually he can't wait to get away, but this time he stayed calm." She continued with dog in hand, "I thought the smell was a little strong, but I think that's what calmed him down. He smells clean now, not like strawberries."

Mom also noticed a few more interesting differences between bathing Boston with F.A.G. over her previous shampoo: A thorough cleaning only required one application and best of all he didn't shed as much. Maybe it was the tea tree oil or oatmeal ingredients that help keep the fur on his little body and off mom's leather couch, maybe not. The science behind the result matters little. What is important is Boston still smelled fresh days after his spa treatment. Well, that is until he got a hold of one of his mega doggie treats.
