Definition:

The United Kindom's national gay rights organization founded in 1964 by Alan Horsfall and Colin Harvey. Born from the Homosexual Law Reform Society, an advocacy group formed to lobby against laws that criminalized gays in the UK (see the Wolfenden Report). The Campaign for Homosexual Equality seeks to promote social and political equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people.
