Noah's ArcLogo/Viacom International
Logo should be commended for creating a drama about gay black men as one of it's premiere series. Noah's Arc not only challenges stereotypes about minorities (in and out of the gay community), but portrays African-American in a positive light.

Episodes of Noah's Arc were highly anticipated; however, the story lines could have been stretched a little further- perhaps throughout two episodes or a full hour. Overall, Noah's Arc is a must see and positive addition to gay TV.

The Story

Noah's Arc is about four African-American friends and their journey's through life in L.A. They struggle through the complexities of love, relationships and African-American gay life. Noah's Arc is one of Logo's premiere gay dramas.

The Characters

Noah
Noah is a struggling screenwriter and hopeless romantic. He's dating a bi curious guy named Wade. Alex, Ricky and Chance, Noah's best friends, aren't too pleased with his choice of man, but are always there for him.

Alex
Alex is a HIV/AIDS outreach worker who starts his own clinic. Alex's live in boyfriend, Trey, is a nurse at a local hospital. Their relationship has its ups and downs. At the end of season one, we see this relationship at its lowest. Trey is leaving to go to Africa for outreach work. Will their seemingly stable relationship survive?

Ricky
Not only does Ricky own his own clothing store, but he's addicted to sex. Ricky is content being promiscuous until he ends up in the hospital with a nasty virus. Luckily the virus isn't HIV, but Ricky did catch something he didn't bargain for- a liking to Junito, a volunteer doctor at Alex's clinic.
Chance
Chance is a college professor who's rational approach to life has led him to a family with boyfriend Eddie and step-daughter Kenya. Chance, Eddie and Kenya move in together only to find out that Eddie is cheating on Chance. Chance and Eddie separate for a while. Leading up to the season finale, Eddie attempts to mend their relationship by asking Chance to marry him.

Wade
Wade struggles with his sexuality, but his kind heart keeps Noah attached. Wade may be new to the gay scene, but his love for Noah is solid.

Trey
Trey has been with Alex for seven years, but Alex's jealousy and insecurities are putting him to the test. Will Trey end it all?

Eddie
On the outside Eddie wants a stable and happy home with Chance and Kenya, but will his outside escapades ruin the fantasy?

Will Noah's Arc Return for Season Two?

Here is the official response from Logo on the return of Noah's Arc:

"We have not yet reached a decision on a second season of "Noah's Arc," but it something we are heavily considering."
