Celebrity Profile: Jonathon Allen was a contestant on the PBS reality TV series, Colonial House. Set in 1628, Jonathon Allen served as an indentured servant and performed duties as chopping wood, building fences, gathering water and caring for the household animals. Jonathon shook up the colony by publicly coming out to the other colonists during a Sunday morning church meeting. This became an emotional learning experience for Jonathon since homosexuality was punishable by death in 1628.
