Domenico Dolce (born 1958, near Palermo, Sicily) and Stefano Gabbana (born 1962, Milan, Italy) are the Italian design duo behind the D&G, Dolce&Gabbana and D&G Junior luxury fashion lines.
Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana met at an atelier in Milan. Their first women's wear collection was shown in 1986. The couple ended their romantic partnership in 2005, but still remain business partners today.
