Actor Jensen Atwood was born and raised in South Central L.A. He became an actor after a brief career in the military. Atwood captured the attention of agents and fans alike after being featured in music videos for Destiny's child, Toni Braxton, Ashanti, Lil Mo, Heather Headley and Chante Moore-Kenny Latimore. Atwood also sang backup for Tyrese. Prior to joining the cast of LOGO's now defunct Noah's Arc, Atwood played Johnny Taylor, opposite Halle Berry, in Oprah Winfrey Presents Their Eyes Were Watching God.
Jensen studied acting both at California State at Long Beach and Playhouse West in Los Angeles.
