Reichen Lehmkuhl, born December 26, 1973 in Cincinnati, Ohio, was the winner of season four of the reality series Amazing Race along with then partner Chip Arndt. Reichen's grandmother, a World War II pilot encouraged him to attend the United States Air Force Academy, from which he graduated in 1996. He was honorably discharged after five years of service in the Air Force and has since advocated for equal gay rights in the military, namely as a spokesperson for the Servicemembers Legal Defense Network.
After the Academy, Reichen moved to Los Angeles where he was discovered by a modeling agency and later by the casting director of the reality series Amazing Race.
Lehmkuhl captured additional media attention when his relationship with former 'N Sync singer Lance Bass was made public. The couple has since split.
Reichen's acting credits include roles on Frasier, The Drew Carey Show, Days of Our Lives , The Young & the Restless and Dante's Cove and his signature flight-themed jewelry line, Fly Naked, is featured as part of the Love and Pride Jewelry collection.
We grounded Reichen for a little Q&A about being an out actor, gays in the military and the career he lets develop by chance. Read [link ur=]30 Days of Pride with Reichen Lehmkuhl.
