Before Getting Back Together With Your Ex-Boyfriend

Saturday September 22, 2007
Pain takes time to heal—especially when it comes in the form of jade-inducing wounds brought on by a breakup. However, as time ticks away you may find yourself in an unexpected situation where you and your previously ex-communicated ex reopen the lines of communication.

Sometimes a simple hello or a conversation with an ex-boyfriend or lover can bring out deeply suppressed feelings and emotions you didn't even know you had (or you thought you'd resolved). If you guys start to become friends again, you may discuss getting back together. How you deal with the situation can lead to either a happy new relationship or another failed experiment.

Mixing old wounds with new nostalgia can be a recipe for disaster if not handled with care. So, be sure to consider these three things before getting back with your ex.
