Pres. Obama made history (again) during his second inaugural speech by promising equality to millions of LGBT Americans. 'Equallity' is a nice neat word, but the meaning behind it and what it takes to achieve is far more complicated. Marriage, adoption, work, trans issues, the list is long. However, first up on the heels of DADT's demise and the cusp of a Supreme Court decision on marriage, is immigration.
The disparity in immigration rights between straight and same-sex couples is wide and has lead to many broken families. But, what does it mean to have equal immigration rights
