Urena Morel Frankelly, 23, says he and his partner were attacked while riding a southbound No. 2 subway train on New York's west side, while onlookers did nothing to help.
The altercation involving Frankelly broke out after a woman took a picture of the couple eating. When asked why she was taking a pic, the woman replied: "Feed you face, f-----" to which another woman said, "Why you with that f-----?"
A physical altercation followed. Three other people joined in, including another man. The gay couple was able to get off at the next subway station and call the police, but not before Frankelly received injuries to his face. He was treated at St. Luke's Hospital.
"Everyone was watching -- no one helped us. That was a very scary situation for us," Frankelly's partner said.

Most people are all pro-GLBT this and that…for parades, dances, carnivals, fairs, fundraisers….
but, when confronted with a bashing of ANY GBLT faction…most people will sit back and sip their spiritual frappee’s.
