2008 Saturn Astra XR 3-door

I'll be honest: I have a special place in my heart for Saturn, the youngest child of old grand General Motors. GM neglected its baby for much of the 90s and early 2000s and like any neglected youngster Saturn failed to produce.

Inside GM's corporate walls, the brand's unique persona was often misunderstood for lack of focus. Few believed in its power, but Saturn didn't give in. They asked for a redo and were granted one. They scored with the lovably dependable Astra, a youth inspired hatch that oesn't need justify it's significance in a family of tried and trues. This model reminds me of our young gays who stay true to their exuberance and take pride in their sexuality, despite their elder critics.
